  This place is a Gem, or at least it used to be. The atmosphere is awesome. The staff is really friendly, the service is good and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately lately, the food has really gone down hill. I used to enjoy the vast menu with ample enough choices to have a nice lunch. The wait staff always seem to praise the soup selections, but to be honest, the soups are absolutely tasteless! They create interesting, daily soup concoctions that sound really delicious, but disappoint. I believe that maybe they have new kitchen staff or something, because the food used to be delicious!!! On my most recent visit, I had a tuna club sandwich which literally had 2 tablespoons of tuna on it....I started going here more often because I was tired of the bad food and the INFLATED prices of the Hop Angel down the street........I really hope that the owner of the Austrian Village reads this review and takes action. It's so nice to have a local hang-out with nice atmosphere to have a beer and a bite to eat, and I'd hate to see it get any worse. This review is intended to be positive and constructive , please don't' take offense!

  2 stars for good beer and friendly personal. Food is terrible. This was probably the worst meal I had in a restaurant. I was in a company of six other people and no one liked their food. Sorry Austrian Village, but I would rather pay more and have a better meal. Not coming back there for sure.

  One of the best family restaurants in the Philadelphia area. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. The live bavarian music night was fantastic. Love this place, cant recommend it enough.
