  Not sure if I want to get food from a restaurant who's manager treats employees like dirt. Overheard Helen, the "manager," making racist remarks to a young girl taking orders. I guarantee this is her first job and frankly Helen should be ashamed of herself and demoted, or at least reprimanded. This was some time ago though so hopefully this complaint of blatant racism does not go unheard

  This Panera was pretty typical of every other Panera I've ever been in. The quality of the food took a back seat to getting the food out fast. When expediency is stressed, mistakes happen. In my case, a rogue chunk of poultry found its way into my (vegetarian) Watermelon Feta salad. Most normal people wouldn't be too bothered by this, but pesky vegetarians like myself tend to get freaked out a little bit by hunks of meat in their vegetables. The salad itself was more interesting on paper than it was in reality. There were a lot of flavors, but I'm not sure I looked how they played together. The sweetness from the watermelon, peaks of freshness from the mint, and highlights of acidity from the vinegar just didn't mix well for me. The moisture from the watermelon also became detrimental to the dish by the end, with the salad greens flopping around in a pool of water at the bottom of the bowl.
